In the practice of any martial art there are variations in routines, training methods and combat techniques. As the oldest form of Taijiquan, Chenstyle has developed many such variations, known as schools. While there are noticible differences among these schools, they maintain a strong common base of chansi jin (spiraling energy) and use of fa jin, as well as use of common postures and techniques. The section will examine the training methods of the style, the weapons
forms used within the style, and present representative individual
techniques (postures) of the styles. |
