Widely hailed as the premier online reference for the art of Chenstyle Taijiquan, the Chenstyle Taijiquan Web Resource has been redesigned and relaunched as the new Chenstyle.com!

For over ten years, the site has been a favorite of practitioners and enthusiasts seeking detailed information about the oldest form of Taijiquan.

Over the course of the decade, it has been favorably reviewed in martial arts magazines in the US and the UK, and enjoys a worldwide reputation for quality. It was voted one of the top three "Readers Choice" martial arts websites by Qi Journal.

In response to reader feedback, I've redesigned the site to give it a fresh new look. I've included new navigation aids (note the scroll command arrows to the right of this text box: click on the arrows to reveal more text) and the site now features a search function to aid visitors, as well as an online glossary of chinese terms also.

The site has been reorganized and expanded. You can learn about the history and development of the art in the History section. Famous masters of the past and present are featured in the Masters section.

The differences between the various schools of chen style are exolored in the Methods section, which also explores Training theory and procedures (including a detailed description of Zhuang Gong exercises) , Techniques, and a comprehensive listing of the Weapons of the style.

In Articles, you'll find longer peices, usually from a personal viewpoint, about the style. Popular features include a lengthy interview with Grandmaster Chen Zhenglei, and an analysis of the 19 Posture Short form of Grandmaster Chen Xiaowang.

If you're curious to see what is available in the media about Chenstyle, you'll want to visit the Reviews section, which examines and dissects books, videos, and DVDs/VCD

s currently available.

The Events section, lists seminars, Taiji tournaments and local practice groups. Please send in information on any events in your area you would like to see listed.

The Resources section is a listing of books, videos, websites, and an Instructor directory for those seeking a teacher in their area.

The Download section features graphics for your computer screen with a Chenstyle theme, as well as a quicktime movie showing Chenjiagou in 1990.

I hope you enjoy the new site, and find it informative and entertaining.

And finally, if you're interested in advertising on the site and getting your school or business global exposure, please contact us to learn more about this great opportunity.

Enjoy your visit, and be sure to return again soon!
